Cardholders of Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® MasterCard® can earn 2% rebates (I look at it as 2% savings) when they Virgin Atlantic tickets through their online shopping portal called Citi Bonus Cash Center. Below is the screen shot that I took from the site.

You will see that you earn 1% rebates. But this is in addition to the 1% that you will earn simply from using the Citi Cash Return Card.

If you fly Virgin Atlantic occasionally, but not enough to get a dedicated Virgin Credit Card, then the Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® MasterCard® is actually a nice way to get some savings from your Trans Atlantic trips. You can also earn extra rebates from over 400 merchants aside from Virgin.
